Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. Stripe provides us with a payment confirmation and the last four digits of the card used.
Property address data: We collect the Hawaii property address you submit in order to compile your Insurability Brief. This address is used to query public government GIS databases on your behalf.
Usage data: We collect standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use this information to operate and improve the service.

We use the information we collect to:

Postmark / ActiveCampaign: Your email address is shared with our transactional email provider to deliver order confirmations and sign-in links.
Public GIS databases: Your property address is submitted to government APIs (FEMA, USGS, Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, Honolulu DPP, Hawaii County) to retrieve publicly available hazard data. No personal information beyond the property address is transmitted to these services.
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention
We retain order records and associated email addresses for up to 3 years for business and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data by emailing us at the address below. We will delete your personal information within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
Cookies
Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We store your session token in your browser's localStorage if you use the account feature; this is necessary for the service to function and is not used for advertising.
